You can select the “Request Appointment” link on the contact page or click here. Dr. Kirkman will personally reach out to you by email to answer any questions you may have and schedule a time for a counseling session or consultation if needed. 

We offer individual and relationship therapy including couples and marital counseling. Time-limited groups are offered as well.  All the providers affiliated with the practice have received specialized training in providing relationship counseling.  

The rate for counseling sessions ranges from $155 to $170 per session depending on provider, specialty, and type of service. 

We can assist with submitting claims for out-of-network coverage to receive reimbursement if your plan allows. 

We know that many people like to use insurance to cover expenses. We also know from experience that insurance may not cover all expenses including if you have a deductible that needs to be met first, or your plan may not be accepted or in-network. To help remove barriers to mental health services, we offer a variety of payment methods for you to receive the assistance that you need including credit or debit cards, HSAs (Health Savings Account), and FSAs (Flexible Spending Account). ACH and Apple pay transactions are available as well by request.

Although we do not work with children, we can offer referrals to therapists who provide assessment and counseling services for children.  

To meet with Simone or Karen, you must be physically located in Maryland at the time of service because of state and licensing restrictions.  Dr. Kirkman, however, has additional credentials to provide telehealth services across state lines.
